Tour Life Mag is a digital publication that shines a light on your favorite bands, the crew members and other creatives that make tours, music, and music videos possible. We want to provide you with stunning photographs of your favorite bands, give you a behind the scenes look into their lives through unique interviews, help you find your new favorite song through distinctive reviews, and give you insight into what it takes to make a concert, album, or music video happen from industry professionals.
A message from our founder: I started this publication to get more women, POC & LGBT+ people into the music photography and journalism world and help them get the advice, insight, connections and friendships that they need to launch their career in the music industry. Having started out in this industry at 15 years old as a young queer woman I faced a lot of sexism and sexual harassment, I struggled to find information I needed to know about the industry to grow, I was being turned down for opportunities due to my gender and I had a lot of negative experiences from the cis white men who dominate this industry. I wanted to help create a safer, more inclusive version of the music industry and give new creatives the encouragement, insight and resources they need to be successful and happy doing what they love.

My name is Eva (or Ev) and I am a college student studying journalism and media production and management at UMass-Amherst. I’m a queer Austinite with a love for live music and storytelling. I spent my early 20s traveling the country (and beyond) writing about music festivals and concerts. I also worked on an electronic music label for a year where I learned much about the inner workings of the music industry. My attention diverted to other mediums in the past few years, but my love for music journalism and the industry never died. I’m so excited to get back in the game and start writing for Tour Life Mag!

My name is Mae and I am a concert photographer based out of Minneapolis, though I love to travel out-of-state to catch shows. I have always loved music, but my passion for photography actually first started in the outdoors. Documenting my travels allowed me to tightly hold onto my memories of my favorite places around the country. It wasn’t until I moved to the Twin Cities that I stumbled into the spectacular world of concert photography due to my proximity to famous venues such as First Avenue. I am now involved in several of the venues in my area, working shows and shooting when I can. See you in the pit!
Hi! I’m Abby, a concert and portrait photographer based in Dallas, TX. I’ve been a photographer and concertgoer for quite awhile but hadn’t thought to combine the two until about a year ago. Hi there! My name is Kenai (pronounced like bill nye but with key instead of bill) and I'm a genderfluid photographer/artist based in Southern California. My favorite things to capture are concerts, animals/nature, and my friends. In my free time I love to doodle or find ways to be creative. I make all kinds of things ranging from digital art and paper crafts to making earrings and playing with resin. If I'm not making something it's probably because I've found a binge-worthy show that I can't seem to peel away from.

Kim is a freelance booking agent, sound engineer, and photographer based in Topeka, Kansas. She recently graduated with a bachelors in Mass Media with an emphasis in public relations and spends most of her time working any gig she can get her hands on. Thanks to the pandemic, Kim has had plenty of time to find new hobbies including plant collecting, photography, and hiking. She enjoys long walks on the beach which is a big problem when living in a landlocked state… So she really spends most of her free time hanging out with her two cats, buying more plants she *definitely* has room for in her tiny apartment, and thrifting all kinds of fun and exciting things.
Camera in hand since elementary school, Mia Baric has built her portfolio around abandoned Long Island, rowdy house shows, and a simple love for the art of photography. With a style described as "up close, intimate, awkward, and a little uncomfortable" she tackles a creative shoot in her backyard just as well as she takes on festival stages in Atlantic City.

a passion of mine, ever since my grandad gifted me my first camera at 12. Through his encouragement, I began to see the world from a different perspective, and as I grew older I knew I wanted to share that perspective with others. My love for music also started very early on as a young carer. My grandad and I would listen to his vast vinyl collection and I often would seek solace in concerts and festivals, being with other people that never cared who I was or where I came from but just enjoyed the moments together. In the past few years, I decided to merge my two passions together and the rest you can say is history. I look forward to meeting you at a show where you will also be able to see my dad dancing in full swing.
I am a photographer based out of Houston, Texas and I specialize in concert photography. My passions for photography and concerts collided in 2018 when I decided to bring my camera to a small venue to shoot the show. I believe that music is one of the strongest forms of magic. Capturing moments in time opens up a world of emotion that would otherwise be lost when the music stops.

HI! My name is Kiara Elizabeth, and I’m a concert and portrait photographer from Winnipeg, Manitoba.
I got my first DSLR camera for my fifteenth birthday and have been a practicing photographer for over 6 years. I went to a vocational high school where I studied all different kinds of photography. I got to work with models and beauty school students looking to fill their portfolios, which is where my love of portrait photography was developed. But it was my experiences outside of the classroom that led to my love for candid and concert photography.
